Maotai Group Intellectual Property Protection Division (Ministry) said that the identification methods of Maotai anti-counterfeiting were mainly concentrated on the plastic cap of the bottle mouth. 5 The source of fake counterfeit liquor is difficult to trace. The industrial and commercial department generally only seized a small amount of fake liquor at the retail terminal. It cannot constitute a crime and cannot be transferred to the public security organ for filing and punishment. In practice, it is difficult to find out the origin and channel of counterfeit wine. In one step, even if consumers discover that it is fake wine, it is not an easy task for law enforcement agencies to dig out the entire production and sales chain of fake wine.

Many industrial and commercial system personnel said that in practice it is difficult to find out the source and channel of fake wine.
