What is a fermented bed chicken?

Fermented bed chicken (also known as ecological chicken, indigenous chicken) refers to the method of raising chickens on a fermentation bed made of sawdust, rice hulls, straw and other materials, so as to achieve zero discharge of feces. Traditional cage culture has changed the biological habits of chickens, and at the same time, the closed environment can easily breed pathogenic bacteria. Using the free-range method of the fermentation bed, it can be reared to the nearest nature, which has many advantages. First of all, the fermentation bed can quickly decompose chicken manure to achieve zero discharge of manure, without having to clear the house every day to reduce labor, and basically eliminate harmful odors such as ammonia and reduce respiratory disease in livestock and poultry. After the feces are decomposed, the resulting bacterial protein can be used as a delicious feed for poultry, which greatly reduces the amount of feed fed. Using fermentation bed culture, the whole shed has formed an atmosphere conducive to bacterial flora, which inhibits the occurrence of harmful bacteria. At the same time, the beneficial bacteria fed by livestock and poultry improve the intestinal environment, enhance physical fitness, improve immunity, and greatly reduce livestock and poultry. Breeding chicken bed design

Basically, there are no major differences in the breeding bed between chickens and other traditional breeding methods. The length and width ratio of the chicken shed construction can be 5:1 or 6:1, 30-70 meters long, not more than 100 meters, 6-10 meters wide, not more than 12 meters, and 2.4-3.0 high The meter is suitable, usually built to 200 square meters. Ventilation is convenient to adjust the indoor temperature and humidity, and the temperature can be normally guaranteed to be about 20 degrees.

Production of chicken fermentation beds

The raw material of the fermentation bed can be easily selected according to different regions. Rice husk, crushed straw or straw are all acceptable. If straw or straw is used, it must be cut to 10 to 15 cm long. Rice husks, crushed straw or straw (or several of them) are spread to 10-15 cm thick. Then 5% of the total amount of litter, sprinkle with uncontaminated soil, and 0.3% of crushed coarse salt. Fouled starter was sprayed again at 0.25 kg/m2. Let stand for fermentation, and chicks can be put in after one week. Later, if odors are found, a small amount of starter culture can be added.

Rear management points of chicken fermentation bed

1. The density of chicken stocking is five to six per square metre. If it is too much, the microorganisms are overburdened and it is not enough to decompose the feces and produce odors.

2. The humidity of the fermentation bed is controlled at about 30%. Observe the humidity of the fermentation bed. Too dry it can be sprayed with 1:200 Fuld Fermentation Diluent.

3. It is forbidden to sterilize chemicals and antibiotics in the fermentation bed housing, otherwise it will kill and inhibit probiotics, which will reduce the activity of probiotics.
